Bagpipe Tuition

Ed has been teaching  children and adults to play the bagpipe for over 20 years and he is the official bagpipe tutor at the Army Foundation College in Harrogate , a position which he has held since 2010 . Ed offers one to one tuition either at his home in Sheffield or online via Skype or Zoom. Lessons are £20 an hour.  All you need to start is a  good quality practice chanter (McCallum, Rt Shepherd,  David Naill) and a tuition book such as The Highland Bagpipe Tutor by the College of Piping is highly recommended.
